At Mercy and Empowerment for the Poor Foundation USA, we are on a mission to transform the lives of orphans in Nigeria by providing not just a home but a future. We are on the ground in Nigeria—addressing the staggering orphan crisis while fostering public awareness of the challenges these children face.
Through faith, compassion, and action, we are stepping into their lives to be the parents they never had—and train them for a future they could never have imagined.
In 2016, our journey began with a single rented facility and a heartfelt vision to nurture Nigeria’s orphans. Over the years, with God’s grace and the support of compassionate donors, we have grown to house 24 children.
In 2017, Henry, a generous donor from Texas, partnered with us to fund the training of seminarians. Even after Henry’s passing, his legacy endures; his family raised $85,000 to establish a permanent orphanage structure which has served us well, and is ready to be expanded even further.
Using additional funding to complete a second building to house more children, ensuring no orphan is left behind.
